The
way of life differs much between the elven sub-races.
The Kvyr elves honor their old hierarchical traditions
where heritage and bloodline determine individual
status and social influence. Their lives are commonly
spent in the company of their kin, in secluded ports
and on traveling ships. In a way they view themselves
as ambassadors, representing their king and queen
in a foreign realm.
The A'lure elves on the other hand have adopted
the land as their own, and they are deeply rooted
in their domain. They are led by a druidic order,
and individual status is derived from contribution
to society rather than heritage. Such contributions
need not always be physical or economical, and sagacious
minstrels are as highly regarded as influential
diplomats and courageous fighters.
