Halflings are roughly half human size, hence their name. They are somewhat plump, but can move quickly with great discretion. They have very dexterous fingers, making them good with tools like instruments and lock picks. Their main characteristics are their large hairy feet. Halflings are a peaceful race and live in burrows or cottages. They prefer peace and quiet, but when forced into battle they are good with slingshots. Halflings generally have good relationships with other races and benefit from them greatly through trade. Halflings are skilled in all areas of gardening and raising of livestock. Their orchards with wonderful fruits are numerous, as are their tobacco fields. Halflings have a good sense of humor and enjoy pranks. They love food and are widely known for their many pastries and delicacies. They are constantly hungry and eat at least four meals per day. If you intend to travel far with a halfling, you must remember to bring plenty of food.
