The Isenvor humans dwell in the icy wastes of Isenvor and in the northern parts of the Barrier Mountains. They lead the life of their forefathers despite being the origin of many other human cultures, like the Arwondel and Odar humans. They either roam the tundra as nomads or lead barbaric lives in primitive mountain settlements. Their existence on the fringe of the known world has yielded them little note in history, and they have often been accused of being uncivilized troublemakers and vandals.

When the Ograkk orcs established themselves within their territory, an epic struggle began for supremacy over the mountain region. The strategically important Sunken River Pass, linking the cities of Ograkk and Icehaven, became an eternal symbol of their struggle.

The Isenvor humans were forced south in an exceptionally cold period known as the Everlasting Winter. The orcs could not withstand their united onslaught, and as they fortified themselves within Ograkk, the Isenvor tribes continued to move south, threatening other races in the region. A temporary pact between the Ograkk orcs and the Odar humans eventually managed to scatter the invaders and force them back.

The Isenvor humans still wage war against the orcs, and occasionally they lead raids against the Kvyr elves and Dar'Kolbur dwarves.
