The
humans have a talent for both spreading and believing
rumors. They enjoy exaggerated stories that expose
the weaknesses of other races, and help to establish
theirs as the supreme one. Despite this they readily
overlook the shortcomings of other races, when they
see it as a means to their own goals.
Both the Isenvor and Odar humans hold the orcs to
be their worst enemies. The orcs are said to behave
like and resemble beasts, with less fur and wits.
They are said to breed for the sole purpose of amassing
armies, and their strength can only be found in
numbers. The Isenvor humans see the Ograkk orcs
as foreign to the land they claim, with roots far
more shallow than a fir. The Odar humans have a
more respectful attitude towards the Kharbesh orcs,
admiring them for their fierce tactics.
The Arwondel humans, founders of the kingdoms south
of Mordaen River, have unlike any other people mingled
with other races through trade, war, travel and
diplomacy. Their cities host members of nearly every
race in the region, originally brought as slaves
in the age of the Barinorr Empire. The humans often
guard prestigious positions in society and complain
when other races are prioritized.
The Isenvor humans pride themselves in being an
ancient civilization, with deeper roots than their
offspring the Odar and Arwondel humans. The latter
two did not only stray far from their northern home
geographically, but also in terms of culture, language
and religion. The Isenvors will never forgive the
day Odar humans and Ograkk orcs joined forces to
drive them off. Their contact with Arwondel humans
has been sparse, but enough to deem them unfit in
both clothing and determination to inhabit the north.
The Odar humans laugh at the wood and stone confinements
of the Arwondel kingdoms. The Arwondel humans in
turn mock their distant relatives for their old-fashioned
ways and meager advancements.
